Please use the link below to contact the Parish Council------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- New Parish Office opening hoursFrom the beginning of May the Parish Council office will be open on: Over the past year the Parish Office has also been open on Wednesdays, but the lack of demand by residents has provided the Parish Council with the opportunity to reduce the Council’s staffing and administration costs. Don’t forget it is easy to access the Parish Council’s services at any time of the day, without having to wait for the Parish Office to be open. Our Contact Us facility can be used at a time to suit you – the Parish Council staff can then respond to your query directly. On Thursday’s Harborough District Council comes to Broughton Astley. A member of the Customer Services Team is available from 10am until 2pm to help with all queries relating to HDC services. Outside this time, Harborough District Council services can be accessed by telephoning 01858 828282. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- IMPORTANT INFORMATION -Broughton Astley Farmers MarketsDue to the decreasing numbers of both stalls and sales Leicestershire Foodlinks have made the decision to discontinue the Broughton Astley Farmers Market. Convenient parking is available at the White Horse Inn and at Thomas Estley Community College ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Carnival News![]() Carnival 2007 Broughton Astley Carnival 2008 will be held on Saturday 21st June 2008, at Thomas Estley Community College and Broughton Astley Village Hall. The event will begin at 12noon with a procession and the field will open at 1pm. The theme of this years Carnival is 'The Caribbean'. For more information please contact Jess Thomas on 01455 285664. As always more volunteers are needed to ensure that this well-loved event runs smoothly. If you can spare any time, either in the run-up to the Carnvial or on the day itself please do get in touch.
