Browsealoud

Browsealoud reads web pages aloud for people who find it difficult to read online. It makes using the Internet easier for people who have: Low literacy and reading skills; English as a second language; Dyslexia or Mild visual impairments.

In the UK there are: 7 million people with literacy problems; 3.5 million people with dyslexia, 8.6 million registered disabled people.

Important Note:

If you have an existing version of Browsealoud on your computer (versions 3 or 4) you will need to update it to the latest version to get full benefit from the software.

You will need to uninstall any earlier versions before running the latest version of Browsealoud.

Existing Browsealoud 3.1 customers - to Browsealoud 5

Firstly uninstall Browsealoud 3.1

Go to Start – then Control Panel -
- open add / remove programs
- Select Texthelp Browsealoud 3.1 from list and click on uninstall / remove

Once this is complete please see instructions for Downloading and Running Browsealoud 5

Existing Browsealoud 4 customers - to Browsealoud 5

Firstly uninstall Browsealoud 4.0

Go to Start – then Control Panel -
- open add / remove programs
- Select Texthelp Browsealoud 4.0 from list and click on uninstall / remove
